REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. of the National Council of the Slovak Republic on the protection of personal data and on amendments to certain acts (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”) shall enter into force on May 25, 2018.

WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?
We collect and process your personal data on the basis of generally binding legal regulations or on the basis of your consent, exclusively for the purpose of business relations. This mainly concerns the following purposes:

  • performance of the contract
  • current offer of our products and services marketing and advertising
  • steps taken to maintain business relationships
  • contacting or responding to questions via electronic
  • communication (e-mail, telephone)

LEGAL BASIS
In accordance with the requirements of personal data protection legislation (Section 6, Article 1 of the Regulation; Section 13(1) of the Act), we must inform you of the legal basis for the processing of your personal data, which is as follows:

  • your consent
  • fulfillment of our legal obligations
  • fulfillment of our contractual obligations

WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
We process your personal data for the purpose of maintaining business relationships, providing information about our products and services, marketing, and for the purpose of creating and fulfilling contracts. When providing our services, we collect the following data about you: first name, last name, name of your company or employer, telephone number, permanent address, mailing address, ID number, VAT number, and other data in accordance with applicable legislation or based on your consent.

SECURITY, DISCLOSURE OF YOUR DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
To protect your data, we have implemented appropriate physical and technical measures to secure the information we collect in connection with our services. In accordance with the requirements of applicable law, we implement all necessary security, technical, and organizational measures to protect your personal data from intentional or accidental deletion, accidental loss, alteration, unlawful disclosure, misuse, or disclosure.

Your personal data may be provided to recipients to whom we are authorized to provide your personal data on the basis of generally binding legal regulations or your consent. Specifically, these may be:

  • statutory representatives, partners, shareholders,
  • authorized employees
  • of the operator,
  • members of the Operator’s group
  • persons cooperating with the Operator (accountants, tax advisors, legal advisors, etc.)

  • to request the correction or updating of your personal data
  • to delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • to restrict the processing of your personal data
  • to withdraw your consent at any time
  • to data portability
  • to object to the processing of your personal data
  • to file a motion to initiate proceedings before the Slovak Data Protection Authority

We will not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we obtained it, as specified in the section “Why we collect your data.” We retain, discard, and destroy your personal data in accordance with generally binding legal regulations.
